Who are we

Who are we

Petits Músics del Món is an NGO that develops projects of solidarity and educational and cultural cooperation through music, with special attention to children and young people in Malawi. We are committed to music because it is a tool for social integration and growth and is able to transcend all boundaries. We believe that education and cultural development are a fundamental step for the transformation of reality.

The aim is to improve the conditions and quality of life of children in Malawi – and in the future of other countries in the South – by supporting the education of children and young people. In the field of cooperation we work in Malawi, one of the most disadvantaged countries in Africa, where the majority of the population lives below the poverty line.

We know that to achieve real change there is a need to change attitudes in our home. So we work by promoting awareness activities, aimed mainly at primary and secondary schools in Catalonia, in order to achieve a society more aware of reality, more responsible and more supportive.
