Hear Us International Forum II
This is the second edition of the Hear Us International Forum, an international development education (EPD) project involving schools and institutes in Catalonia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
The project links the state of education and music education in schools in Malawi, Mozambique, Catalonia and Zimbabwe to a video made by children and young people in Catalonia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Students between the ages of 12 and 16 from Mozambique, Malawi, Catalonia and Zimbabwe are expected to attend.
The general objectives of the project are to raise awareness about the reality in other countries and about one’s own, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by online resources, to analyze the situation of education in each of the participating countries and at the same time to analyze the situation. of music education and to achieve a space where they can express themselves freely, collaborating with classmates and students from other countries, such as Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
This project includes the voluntary conduct of a video call session in English between students from Catalonia, Malawi, Mozambique and / or Zimbabwe to exchange views and experiences.
The activity is developed through technologies, in order to adapt to the current situation of COVID-19 and not endanger the health of people. Each part of the activity will focus on making a video and exchanging it between the various participating countries, to end with the creation of a great final video that collects the contributions of Catalonia, Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe. This project is divided into two parts:
